Caveat emptor is Latin for "Let the buyer beware". I am posting this notice because people have the right to a fair warning before they spend their money on a potential scam.

, Smokeandsweets, seems to be offering commissions.

One part of the supposed collaboration team of 'smokeandsweets' is known as "Herb".

Herb is a Furcadia player also known as Krr, Poi, FrostRaven, Bones, and who knows who else. Herb has a long history of taking commissions and then never finishing them, keeping the money, and blocking / ignoring her commissioners' attempts to contact her.

She has scammed people out of hundreds of dollars.

Comments on her page seem to be hidden, they're probably other users trying to warn of her scams. I'm posting here because she can't control or hide my journal, nor can she do so to anyone else who decides to pass the word along.

While you may commission her if you want, you should be aware she may take your money and run.
